Thank You, Elm Creek Readers!

Saturday, April 21, 2007

I'm thrilled to announce that my new novel, The Quilter's Homecoming, has reached #19 on The New York Times bestsellers list! I am very grateful to my loyal readers who made this possible by sharing their love for the Elm Creek Quilts series with their friends. Thanks for spreading the word about my books, for sending me such encouraging letters and emails, and for inspiring me with your love for Sylvia and friends. Thanks to your ongoing support, we can look forward to many return visits to the world of Elm Creek Quilts in the years to come.

I feel honoured to have shared your books. I love reading them and am just about to read The Master Quilter. Unfortunately, in the UK our libraries don’t stock all of your books. i have learned through searching amazon that i have even more books to add to my ‘wanted list’.

Thank you for all of your hard work. i am not a quilter, but i do love to craft..I wish i could learn to quilt.

I just finished The Quilter’s Homecoming and loved Elizabeth’s story. I can hardly wait for the rest of the story.  It doesn’t look like The Winding Ways Quilt continues that story.

Just keep on bringing us new quilt novels.

Come out out way to the Sister’s Quilt Show, on the 2d Saturday of July every year!

I finished homecoming and loved it - I hope you add to the story by doing one on Elizabeth’s children who might come to ElmCreek to see Sylvia.  A nice family reunion.

I absolutely love all of your books.  I came across them by accident at the library when I took our son to story time.  The quilting theme caught my eye as I’m a beginner quilter.  I have the last three books to read but the two of them have a waiting list...a very long waiting list!  I can usually read your book in a few days (pending how busy we are with our son).  I’m already dreading the long wait for the last two books.

Thank you for the good reading that doesn’t include profanity and other garbage and smut we see almost every where.  Keep up the good work!!

I love all the elm creek books, I came across them at a book store, I always loved the idea of quilting and now I am trying to learn, I hope to get better at it, but teaching yourself is hard, when a you don’t even now how to sew! I will keep on trying and I think I am getting better.  I can’t wait for more books to come out, keep up the good work!!

Hi Jennifer,

Just recently found your books in the library and it was fun to read! It was the right way to get my thoughts on something different than our move smile

I’m looking forward to another example!
I’m reading The runaway quilt.

Thanks for the fun!
Hugs,Marianne
