Sylvia’s Collection

The fabrics in Jennifer Chiaverini's first fabric line for Red Rooster Fabrics were inspired by the lilacs, roses and ivy, elms and other natural elements in the gardens at Elm Creek Manor, Sylvia's ancestral home and the site of quilters' retreats. Quiltmakers enjoy Jennifer's stories because the hopes and dreams of the fictional circle of friends parallel their own. Jennifer understands the humor and sorrow, exhilaration and exasperation that are part of our personal and quiltmaking experiences. She also understands fabric. Quiltmakers will love the romantic colors and wonderful textures in this collection. Sylvia's collection was introduced by Red Rooster Fabrics to independent quilt shop owners at Spring International Quilt Markey May 2-4, 2003, in Portland, Oregon. "Elm Creek Quilts -- Sylvia's Collection" will be available for quilters in August/September 2003 in fine quilt shops everywhere.
