“The Union Quilters” Pins Available Courtesy of Next Chapter Books
My Elm Creek Quilts pins have become so popular that I've decided to design a new pin for each new novel. I recently created a new pin commemorating The Union Quilters, which features two of my original quilt block designs, Charlie Stokey's Star and Union Hall.
You can receive one of these limited edition pins if you come see me on my book tour from February 22-March 11. I'll be visiting several of my favorite shops and libraries across the country and will give away a pin with each copy of The Union Quilters you have me sign at that store, while supplies last. For book tour locations, dates, and times, please see the Events page on this website.
Can't make it one of my events? The wonderful booksellers at the Next Chapter Bookshop in Mequon are ready to help. If you pre-order The Union Quilters from the Next Chapter Bookshop website, they will include a The Union Quilters pin with your book when they ship it to you. I will autograph the books when I visit the store on March 7, 2011, so all orders need to be placed before then. If you would like your book to be personalized, please be sure to indicate the name of the person to whom the book should be addressed.
Quantities are limited, so make your plans to attend one of my book tour events or place your order with the Next Chapter Bookshop soon.
Thanks, and Happy Reading!
Jennifer

I wish I could meet you and tell you how much I enjoy your books, and want to go to Elm Creek Manor for a quilting retreat . Thank you for the pleasure and reading enjoyment you have given to me. Thank God for your gifts. I purchased my first Jennifer Chiaverini quilt books while visiting “Heartbeats” quilt shop on Cape Cod. It was three in one! and I was totally addicted. I live about 2 1/2 hours from State College, and go to a local Bernina quilt shop in Mifflinburg for quilt classes. It takes me about 1 hour 25 minutes to get there so I don’t get there often. ( With my work and grandchildren, family, and 87 yr old mother schedules) I have put several of my fellow quilters from Mifflinburg onto your novels and they also totally love them. Just wanted you to know how much we appreciate your talents.
The first book of yours that I bought was purchased at South Station in Boston, MA while waiting for my bus to take me back to Maine. I had never read any other quilt novels, but after reading “The Quilter’s Apprentice” I went right away and bought three more of your books. So glad I will have a new one to read and autographed by you.
Looking forward to meeting you at The Cotton Cupboard, Bangor, ME.
Thank you for your wonderful books! Several of us here in Evansville, IN share your books and are anxiously await “The Union Quilters”. I just placed my order t the bookshop. Thank you again!
I love the new book The Union Quilters . I have enjoyed all the books .Can not wait for the next book. I’m in a group of ladies who are making the bride’s quilt.
I’m sorry, the pins and book can’t be ordered from the Netherlands.
Otherwise I would do that at ones.
We must have a little patience
Wish you a lot of succes!
I am a Dutch quilter who learned quilting on our first assignement to Madrid, Spain. Then we moved to Perth Western Australia and I joined a great group of quilters from all over the world. We were with over 20. So heartwarming, we made lapquilts for the Royal Flying Doctors for children and premature babies that needed to be transported. One of us got very ill and immediately we all gathered making her a comforting quilt, as anybody left, we made a quilt to memorize. I am so lucky to have one and can take that feeling with me, wherever we are. In Perth I found your first book and it was ecxactly the same feeling as my group in Perth. I got addicted and while now in Johannesburg, I ordered all books. Now even on Kindle and I started reading the last new one even before your email came to announce that it was in the shops! Unfortunately too far to meet you. But in June our family will be transfered to Houston, tx. The heart of quilting. Being a quilter and bookaddicted, I once hope to meet and tell you in person how great it is to read your books and learn some of American history that will be our home and country fromnow on!
Thank you for writing all these wonderful books. I cannot wait to finish one so I can start a new one. I cannot tell you how many of may friends that I have started reading these books just on my talling about them and showing them my quilts made from your patterns and fabric. I just wish that there was a Elm Creek Quilt retreat that I could go to and enjoy what the ladies in your books enjoy. I am an quilt teacher an pride myself on the quility of instrustion and in my quilting that is demanded in your teachers at Elm Creek. Thank you showing us that it can be done. I look forward to your next book and adventure.
