THE CHRISTMAS QUILT Fabric Collection

The Christmas Quilt

I can't believe I overlooked Kimberly Camou's January 3rd comment in the Readers' Circle until now. Kimberly reports:

I found an online store that will have the new fabric collection in March.

Jennifer, I can’t wait until you post pics of all the swatches, but so far, from what I’ve seen, they look just beautiful! Thanks again for all you do!

I have posted the remaining swatches in the Gallery since then, but Kimberly, here's a belated thank you for keeping me informed. What would I do without my readers?

Yes! Thank you, Kimberly, for the link!  I corresponded with the store and they’ll email when the fabrics arrive. Making quilt blocks from your beautiful fabrics, Jennifer, will continue the delight I had in reading the stories and traditions in The Christmas Quilt - a wonderful book. First time I’ll start sewing in April instead of November for the holiday!

Take care

Saw somebody looking for a substitute for Elm Creek (if there is such a thing).  There is a website called Quiltaways that advertises weekend getaways near Lancaster, Pa.  Went one weekend and machine-stitched a whole quilt top.  It’s interesting and a fun time.  They DO NOT teach; only show if you get into trouble.  The accommodations are at a B and B and quite nice. There is even time for shopping in Amish country!

Hi to everybody.
Can you tell me how much fabric I will need for the Christmas quilt?
Thank you so much.

Does anyone know of a quilt shop in the Chicago area that carries the Red Rooster Fabrics?
Thank you.
